Thomas George Neale was born April 1857 in London, England. In 1880 he married Mary Jane Croft. They had 5 daughters and 1 son (Rosa, Jennett, Kate, Ethel and Daisy Beatrice and Edward James Capel Neale). In 1905 or 1906 the family emigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Shortly after their arrival the children all married. My grandmother, Rosa Muriel Mary Neale, married John Brown of Coldsteam, Scotland, August 21, 1909, in York, Ontario, Canada. John was electrocuted at work in 1923 (Rosa's father also had been electrocuted at work as an electrician in 1919). Rosa moved to California in 1924, where she spent the remainder of
her years, except for some time spent in Oregon.
