He was born circa 1860 in Russian Poland. He lived in Brest-Litovsk, Russia and we believe died there. It is believed that he died prior to 1883 and was buried in the Old Jewish Cemetery in Brest-Litovsk, Russia. He married Pesse nee Forman in about 1879. They had a son Anshel who was born on August 15, 1881, lived in Brest-Litovsk and emigrated to the United States in 1906. They might have also had another son who was born prior to Anshel and emigrated to the United Kingdom prior to 1906. This son might have changed his name to Schwartz or something similar. It is possible that he lived in Sheffield, United Kingdom. They had a third son Leon who we believe moved to Akkerman, Russian Empire. Anshel married Ciwze (Tsivia) in circa 1902 and they lived in Brest-Litovsk, Russian Empire. Anshel and Ciwze had two (2) sons in Brest-Litovsk. Jankiel (Yankel or Yankiel) was born on June 8, 1904. Gutman (Gimann) was born on March 1, 1906. Anshel emigrated to the United States in 1906 and his wife, mother and two (2) sons emigrated to the United States in 1911. This person is being researched by his great grandson Larry Schenker Binenbaum living in Los Angeles, California, United States.
