A Catherine McSorley/Rodgers b. abt 1834 (no ida where Rodgers originated) married in 1851 in Melbourne a Henry William Field. She either came from the UK or as her daughter Catherine's b.1853 birth certificate says was born in Ireland. She had 3 or 5 children in Australia. Catherine also spend some time in Connecticut? Her granddaughter's face is not unlike the ones of the women in your photos. I wonder if they are related. They were a travelling kind so anything is possible. No birth or death about Catherine 1834 herself is to be found. A real mystery woman.
