This is William C. Holmes III who is son of Mr. William C. Holmes, Jr. and Mrs. Betty Jo Holmes (Dickison) of South Shore, Kentucky. My father was principal of Sunshine Elementary School and my mother was teacher of English and Latin at McKell High School that merged into becoming Greenup County High School. My mother passed away at an early age of 55 years old January 19, 1985 from a blood clot that went to her heart, she suffered from breast cancer. My father passed away at age 61 years old March 26, 1986 from a heart attack in a restroom in Vero Beach, Florida's mall. I miss them dearly and will always cherish memories of Florida Trips, Kenley Plays in Columbus, Ohio and soup beans and cornbread weekend dinners. Recently I discovered that my great grand mother on my father's side was Elizabeth May Patton who was married to William Fletcher Crawford Born: 14 APR 1880.
