Back in 1996 I went with my father (James Andrew Talley) and other family members to Talleyville,DE for the first time. We were delighted to have the chance to see where the first Talley's landed and to see the graves of our distant ancestors. When I returned home to Massachusetts, I had some copies made of "The History of the Talley Family and Their Descendents on the Delaware" printed. It is a delightful accounting of the early Talley's and is very helpful in researching our ancestors. Because of it, I have traced my line back to William Talley the Great who came to the Brandywine 100 in 1686.
After distributing several to my own family members, I have a few extra copies that I would sell at my cost. ($35 for soft cover and $45 for hard cover)If you know someone who might be interested, I can be reached via e-mail ktalleywild@yahoo.com. Thank you and happy family reaearch! KT
