my grandmothers name was barbara edith jeffers.her fathers name was marshall jeffers and mothers name nellie brooks,jeffers.barbara had 3 sisters and 8 brothers ranging in birth 1901-1923.this jeffers family settled in greensfork,Indiana.marshall was a farmer and had gurnsey cattle.marshall had several siblings,first names were perry,john w,george, charles f,grace,nanna merl marshalls twin sister who died young.clara jeanette,cora.most of these were born in marion co indiana.john w settled around illinois.he had two children,his wife was mary mollie baer.12/24/1880. children Harry and Esther lee.perrys wife lovely ellen hoss,sp? hess?hass? had settle, golden,cordie.george jeffers born in 1879 had louise frances.his wife was anna bell obanion.marshalls father was jacob jeffers,sometimes spelled jeffries,jeffery and other soundex sp.born in 1832.ohio?? married 2 times.first to charlotte justine.then to mary jane mccoy.she died 1918 and is burried at greensfork.some sirnames are brooks,stansburry,applegate,wiseheart,mccoy,beaver,wilcox,cox,matthews,brown,white,brickert.many more sir names that are not mentioned that was after 1900.if you are related to this jeffers branch or have any information no matter how small pleaser contact me.happy hunting and thank you for reading.Sueann.

beautiful young girl.
This photo was taken in Greenfield, Indiana; in the late 1800's to early 1900's.I believe her to be a Jeffers.But not sure.This Picture was with the Jeffers- Brooks Photo's. Another photo of a boy with the last name of- Hiday -was from Greenfield,Indiana Also.I have figured that my great great grandmother, Mary margaret stansbury's sister married a Hiday.His picture is on this site also.Could this be his sister???

Handsome jeffers
This Is most certain a jeffers as it looks so much like Charles jeffers photo.Again was with Jeffers Photo's. Photo say's Fortville,Indiana.I must say he sure was a handsome man.

Nellie Cora Brooks-Jeffers
this picture was taken at fortville indiana.I belive it to be jeffers because it was with jeffers pictures.do you know who this is???my ggguncle john w lived in fortville around 1900-40.I now know this is Nellie Brooks Jeffers.I found a picture of her with marshall jeffers.Her husband.

this photo is of Marshall Jeffers & Nellie Cora Brooks Jeffers.It was taken in the early 1900's They were married in McCordsville,Indiana.In 1900.Marshall was born in 1877.Nellie was born in 1883.They later settled around Wayne CO,.Indiana(Greensfork)Indiana.They had 3 girls & 6 boys.

She was hit in the face with a baseball.She was wearing glasses and broken glass punctured her eye.Therefore she had to be taken from school and to hospital,32 years later the glass worked out of the bottom of her foot.She put a red star by one of the boys whom I believe she was sweet on.the # next to name is the grade they were in.
