2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Germaine Zabielski was my maternal grandmother and a very special person. My fondest memories are of her taking me to Atkins Farms when I was 5 and suffering from poison ivy, weekend drives and her screaming for my baseball team, NEVER missing a game! I also remember a tough old woman who confronted someone trying to steal her purse and she knocking him off his feet with one punch...she protected me with a vengeance. She always put my comfort before hers and was a very big part of my life. In her latter years she suffered from severe Alzheimers, sadly, and she suffered the last few years of her life. I wish I could have her back. I miss her so much but I know she's in a better place. Love you Gram!
