Don't Worry: AncientFaces Will Stay Free

Greetings!

We've been receiving a lot of feedback from people who are worried that, in the future, we will be charging for our website. We assure you that all submitted material (photos, stories, and recipes as well as contacting the submitters) will continue to remain free of charge. However, running the site does cost a significant amount of money so we will continue to add other services for which there may be a small fee. None of these added features will interfere with or impede your normal free access. Again, everything that we've provided for free over the past 5 years will remain free.

For those of you who love AncientFaces and value the time, effort, and money that it takes to privately run such a large website: We're considering setting up a donation system so that you can make donations to help improve the site (going to programming, servers, and maintenance costs), making AncientFaces a better service for you. We would be offering a variety of gifts to you for your donation (honoring a family or family member, AncientFaces merchandise, and/or a personally autographed photo of the AncientFaces family). Your donations would help us make AncientFaces fully operational more quickly and also allow us to continue to improve the free services that are currently available.
