Now a celebration of all things Irish, St. Patrick's day began as a local commemoration of the man who brought Catholicism to Ireland. Today, it is the exuberant entry into Spring when everyone claims Irish heritage and wears a bit of the green.

Whether you actually have Irish heritage or you feel a kinship to the Irish folk, March 17th is the time to play and party - to put a smile on your face while we celebrate a shared tradition.

Green is the symbol of spring and new life and the shamrocks were used as an example of the Trinity. The serpent story is an analogy to symbolize St. Patrick's mission to spread his religious beliefs throughout Ireland. Celebrate your Irish heritage this St. Patrick's day.
