Macfunn-Biddle Family

It is my understanding, from both my family's oral history and written documents, that the surname was created when a Lydia Biddle married a William or Edward Macfunn in England. The Biddle name had greater social standing, so Macfunn agreed to add to adopt it. In honor of Lydia many of us (her female decedents) have been named in honor of her.
