My grandfather

Sarah Smoot
I remember my grandfather, Wayland Doyle Fuller, telling me a story of when he was a little boy. He was working in the field when a storm hit. He automatically ran under a tree to keep from getting wet. As he was standing there he was struck by a sudden hit of lightening. He said he was never the same after that.

Nadine Hardin Sounds like my grandmother, Anna (Farkas) Benko-Szabo. We also dashed for the trees when the storms hit, years later we found out trees do attract lightening and it could be the most dangerous place to "hide." We survived. Nadine
