I remember seeing a woman with long braids who was my grandfather's sister her name was Cora Barnhill. I was told she was an Indian (Creek) and attended pow's in Fl and Al.I remember her a little not much but my older sister's and brother's remember her better.My grandfather was Henry Barnhill son of Mary Steele and Benjamin Franklin Barnhill.I recently within the last 2 yrs got on the internet and found some of my grandfather's brother Jovel Barnhill's children we have been exchanging info they having alot of info me having very little to give but I am really interested in finding out all I can so if you can help please do.I remember my grandfather as being a goodlooking man with beautiful thick silver gray hair and that he firmly believed that at the supper table children were to be seen and not heard,LOL a very hard thing for me as I do love to talk....

IN A 2 QT. SAUCEPAN, MEASURE CORNSTARCH,SUGAR,1/2 TEASPOON SALT;STIR TOGETHER;STIR IN WARM WATER,LEMON PEEL AND JUICE;STIR IN EGG YOLKS,COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT,STIRRING UNTIL START TO BOIL.
ADD BUTTER OR MARGARINE.STIR UNTIL MIXTURE IS THICKENED.
POUR IN PREPARED PIE CRUST;AFTER COOLED,TOP WITH MERINGUE OR COOL WHIP IF YOU PREFER.
