His family was from Wayne county Mississippi according to 1900 United States Federal Census found on Ancestry.com he married his wife Emmaline she was born February 1865 the two of them had 11 children names Ellen, Oscar, Lana, Walter O, Robert, Jane, Oliver, Ollie, Jettie, Bidie, and Gilbert. Oscar Dace was born in 1885 was the son of Thomas he was the father of Gerolin (George), Cara, Baby no name Dace. Gerolin was my father he changed his name to George because he said people could not pronounce his name. George dace was born December 4, 1905 all of which was born in Mississippi.
