His easy going nature braced a sense of humor and warmth that put one at ease. He was the man who listened and helped people how ever he could. When one walked away from Chef Carl one was always the better for it.
His childhood and youth were lived in Shalersville Township and Mantua Village Ohio. He grew to love cooking, golf and fishing. He went from inch and a half blue gills from his cousin’s pond to bass in Lake Erie to over 100 pound tunas in the Gulf of Mexico. His pride however were his two children and two grandchildren.
Carl was a celebrated chef in the greater New Orleans area.
