HARMON Family Photograph
I've recovered an old photograph of Gladys HARMON which was taken at the Wynne Smith Studio in Painesville, OH. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Gladys appearing to be about 6 years old at the time. Someone has also written "Cousin" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Gladys and her family:
Gladys Louise HARMON was b. 23 Oct 1898 in Kirtland, OH to parents Granville H. HARMON (1853-1931) and Mary Clara BUSCHER or BUESCHER (1865-1953) who were married 26 May 1886 in Cuyahoga Co., OH. Gladys was one of four children born to this couple including Reuben F.; Granville Henry Jr.; Hilda H.; and Gladys Louise HARMON all born between 1887 and 1898. Gladys had a son, George G. HARMON (1915-1957). Gladys died 2 Nov 1983 in Sioux City, IA and is buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery in that city.

According to her Oct 31 2001 obituary in the Tampa Bay Times, Pearl was 101 at the time of her death. She moved to Florida from Randolph MA in 1980.
Episode 177 of the television show Friends was dedicated to Pearl. It's believed she was a relative of a script writer for that episode.

RW Stephens (Robert Wheeler b. Jan 17, 1926 Texas d. July 10, 1990 whitney, TX)was my dad. His mom was Oleta Clarice Brown.he married my mom in 1975 in Oklahoma city, ok. I was born. 2 years later little sister came along and we moved to a bigger house. Mom had baby brother whom died 6 weeks later. Mom left a year or so later. Daddy worked himself sick over the years and we moved around a lot, looking for a better neighborhood. We wound up in a homeless shelter braise he was crippled. Got gangrene in his left heel. He got real sick so I snuck in his wallet and dug out uncle Steve's phone number. Sister and I waled the city street collecting pennies and whatever change we could find. We put in a collect call to uncle Steve and told him how sick his brother was and where we were staying. He called daddy and a week later we got the money to get on a greyhound bus to Texas. RW died a few months later. He worked hard raising us right and seeing we had food and a roof over our heads.
