Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding this family:
Florence Annis ROGERS was b. 27 Jan 1897 in Manchester, NY to parents Judson Dexter ROGERS (1870-1924) and Almeda Dana CHURCH (1875-1941). Florence had one sibling, a brother Charles William ROGERS (1906-1955). Florence married Boyd James ALLEN (1895-1967) and they had 8 children including Catherine A.; Boyd James Jr.; Charles John; and Donald Frank ALLEN along with four others, all born between 1921 and 1937. Florence died 16 Nov 1973 in Elmira, NY and she is buried in the Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, PA.
Mildred Louise ROGERS was b. 1884 in New York to parents James L. ROGERS (b. 1846) and Elizabeth ZIMMERMAN (1849-1910). Mildred had one sibling, a brother Charles ROGERS (1876-1935). Mildred married Clarence Truman HARVEY (b. 1889) on 16 Jun 1910 in Ontario Co., NY and they had two children including Donald Givens HARVEY (1914-1975) and Vivian Ruth HARVEY (b. 1920). Mildred died in 1960 and is buried in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Throop, NY.
James ROGERS was b. New York and married Elizabeth ZIMMERMAN, and they had two children including Judson Dexter ROGERS (1870-1924) and Charles ROGERS (b. 1875). Elizabeth ZIMMERMAN was b. 8 May 1849 in Rock Stream, ,NY to parents Benjamin B. ZIMMERMAN (b. 1815) and Lydia Julia A. RUMSEY or RAMSEY (1824-1880). Elizabeth was one of 7 children born to this couple including Albacinda L.; Nelson; Elizabeth; Dorliska “Dork”; Sarah; Emma; and Flora Belle ZIMMERMAN, all born between 1844 and 1865. Elizabeth died 18 Dec 1910 in Sayre, PA while visiting with her son Judson Dexter ROGERS from her home in Geneva, NY. She was survived by sons Judson D. ROGERS and Charles H. ROGERS and her daughter Mrs. Clarence F. HARVEY of Dunkirk, NY.
Charles H. ROGERS was b. 1875 and married Edith M. CODET (1879-1934) and they had a son, Herbert L. ROGERS (1904-1964). Charles was a well-known engineer in Lehigh, PA. Charles died in 1936 and is buried in the Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, PA, he was survived by his son Herbert ROGERS and his sister Mrs. Clarence HARVEY of Auburn, NY.
Charles W. ROGERS was b. 1906 in Pennsylvania to parents Judson D. ROGERS (1870-1924) and Almeda D. CHURCH (1875-1941). Charles married Donna B. ROGERS (1908-1979) and they had a daughter, Betty J. ROGERS (1928-1928). Charles died in 1955 and is buried in the Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, PA.
Judson D. ROGERS was b. Sept 1870 in New York and married Almeda D. CHURCH (1875-1941) and they had Florence Annis ROGERS and Charles W. ROGERS. Judson died in 1924 and is buried in the Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, PA.

John Charles Harvey
History of Royal Berks Rgt records 1st (Regular) Battalion:
24 September 1939: Landed in Cherbourg, France.
December 1939: By now had taken up their positions on the Belgian border.
Germany invaded Belgium and the Netherlands on 10 May 1940
10 May 1940: Took up positions along the River Dyle.
13 May 1940: That evening they made their first contact with the German Army whilst on patrol.
15 May 1940: The main attack began and the battalion held their ground. Later were given orders to withdraw and to make their retreat to Dunkirk
John C Harvey died on the 16th May, so he may have been killed during their retreat close to Belgium border.
Maybe it was during severe enemy action and nothing could be done at the time and the body was left during the retreat. His body was not found due to many possible factors, like blown up and no parts identifiable; known or unknown mass grave when interred by German troops after evacuation, body lost in the many canals. There is a panel reference of 112 of CWGC's page. This I think would further indicate with only a panel reference on the memorial and that no gravestone position is mentioned, that he died in the 1939-40 campaign but his body was not found. There is a specific date of death which is odd-ish, as maybe it would seem to indicate that someone saw him die, probably during the initial retreat from Belgium border and the rearguard actions.

There is a bit to add to this story.
He was indeed killed during the retreat, we knew nothing about this until 20 years ago, someone from the regiment who was there when he got killed, found my dad Fred Harvey, John’s brother and came to see him, He told dad that, They had met the Germans, and held on for several days, they were then forced to retreat.
Charlie was killed by a hand grenade while carrying a wounded soldier on a stretcher; he was given a quick burial in a hedgerow in France on the way to Dunkirk
He told dad that they had no time to do a proper burial, but dug a shallow grave in a hedgerow and placed him there, his body was never recovered, but he said he still knew the spot and would take my dad there, unfortunately dad was too upset and did not take up the offer.

I am not sure if I am reaching the right Harvey family, but my mother was born Betty Jean Harvey in 1953. Her father was Lewis Sanford Harvey and mother Lillie Mae Brockman-Harvey. Trying to trace my family history and thought you might help. My name is Emma Jayne Rachel Harvey I am 19 years old, birth date 12th may 1988. I have a father Iain Venton Harvey and he has two siblings called Janet penrose(Harvey)and Brian Neil Harvey (chief fireman in devon, england). My grandparents are rachel harvey (maiden name unknown) and alan Harvey (who unfortunetly died in july 2004)Alan Harvey was a captain in the royal navy. I live in weston super mare, north somerset, england. I also have a sister called Jasmine jay Harvey who is 18 and her birth date is 18th august 1987.
