Helen Edith THOMPSON was b. 19 Jul 1907 in Concord, NH to parents Harry Leon THOMPSON (1872-1953) and Alice G. COULTER (1883-1972). Helen had one sibling, a sister Blanche M. THOMPSON b. 1909. Helen died 12 Jan 1972 in Biddeford, ME. It doesn’t appear that Helen married or had children.

I have an old studio photograph of Jennett JONES which was taken at the Hammond Bros. Studio in Lewiston, ME that I’d like to get to a family member. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890’s or early 1900’s with Jennett likely in her 40’s or 50’s at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Jennett and her family:
Jennett Emelia or Emily JONES was b. 22 May 1842 in Livermore or Leeds, ME to parents James Niles JONES (1818-1897) and Almedia or Almeda OWEN (1821-1892). Jennett was one of four children born to this couple including Jennett; Lodusca or Lodusia Ellen; Ida Eldora; and Florence Eva JONES, all born between 1842 and 1856. Jennett married twice, first to Alonzo BRETT (1832-1868) on 26 Nov 1862 in Canton, ME and they had two children including Simson or Simeon James BRETT (1863-1940) and Etta May BRETT (b. 1865 or 1866).
After the death of her first husband, Jennett married Hannibal THOMPSON Jr. (1823-1901) abt 1871 and they had three children including William “Willie” Henry THOMPSON (1871-1949); Baby Girl THOMPSON (b. 1874); and Ida Florence THOMPSON (1876-1955). Jennett died in 1916 in Auburn, ME and is buried in the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Auburn, ME. The spelling of Jennett’s first name varies throughout records, sometimes as Jeanette, Jeannette, or Jennette.

I strongly believe this is Charles James Thompson. Who is buried next to my Ferris Earl Thompson. He was in the military. Married to Olive Arvillia Sherman/ Thompson. I have him in Arizona. I am researching a Ferris Demont Thompson from Pennsylvania. I seen his birth certificate that states Lee Andrew Thompson and Ina Kanhouse are his parents..! I need to get a copy of that record. I don't have a paid subscription to Ancestry. He was married to a Bernice Marie Ball..Phillips..they lived in Charlotte Michigan also.

My grandmother's name was Idona Thompson and she was born in the 1880's in Loiusiana. She married John W Fairchild and they moved to east Texas. I had my DNA tested recently and I am mostly Irish which was a surprise. My father was born in Louisana and adopted so I cannot find out about that side of my family. I have never heard that my grandmother had relatives but I would love to find out. If anyone knows of an Idona Thompson, please reach out to me. Thanks!

Anyone have a family tree with a Harrison Thompson married to Elizabeth Stumbaugh? Wanting to know Harrison's parents,think father is a George Thompson from Kentucky. Harrison & Elizabeth lived in Ralls Co. Missouri,died in 1911 & 1917.She was married to a Kennedy before Thompson.
