This is my 4th great grandparents, James Keene and Frances Cobb. She is clearly pregnant in this photo and is more than likely my 3rd great grandmother, Nancy Keene. James dates are 1795-1863 and Frances is 1800-1878.

Lloyd was my father that I never knew. All I know is that a week befor he passed he kept telling my grandma Mary that he saw me driving by in a Chevy blazer and that is what I had at the time of his death. He was the pilot of the Wellington Bomber that crashed while on a training flight in the Cairngorms in Scotland on 9th August 1942. My Uncle, Joe Weatherson was a fellow crew member in that plane. I and a cousin visited the crash site in October last year (2013) to place a slate memorial to Joe. We re-visited the site this July and then went to A G W Keene's grave and took photographs. We would be happy to share those photos with his family.
We are trying to build a picture of the crew to put on a storyboard at Montrose Air Station. They have used the propeller from the plane as part of their War Memorial up until last year and now want to incorporate as part a personal memorial to the crew of that plane. Only the rear gunner survived (died aged 93 in 2012.
