This is a postcard showing the bakery and some of the bakers at the Indian school in Carlisle, PA. It was sent on August 13, 1912 to my gr-grandfather, Austin Allen Mort, in Fannettsburg, PA from his granddaughter, Lottie (Kent) Ruhl, postmarked in Dillsburg, PA.

The back says: "Dear Grandfather, I am having a fine time. I have a notion to try roller skating tomorrow afternoon but am a little afraid of my neck. If you get another telephone call, you will know I have landed on my head. Lovingly, Lottie".Postmark is faded but looks like 1897.

William and Irene Kent settled in Atlantic City NJ from Phila. Pa in 1926 and had 15 children. We had our first family reunion in 1994 and 120 relatives attended.
