Ronald Lovell Jake was my best friend from the age of 6 in New Britain throughout our young adult hood. We started playing together in a Band when we were in our early teens. We formed a Group called the Flames where Jake played the guitar, then later "Duke, Dutchess and the Magnificents, where he played Valve Trombone..standing next to me for over 7 years.
Jake and I were always together during those wonderful years. He was my best friend.
We lost contact over 40 years ago and I am sorry to hear that he has passed away. Jacob was the best friend a man could ever ask for. I am sure we will meet again.
Love,
Dr. Ron (Smokie) Lovell
