I have an old studio photograph identified as Fredie MCKINNEY which was taken at the H. W. Loveday’s Studio in Chicago, IL, most likely in the 1880’s with Fredie less than one year old at the time. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Fredie and his family:
Fred “Fredie” W. MCKINNEY was b. 1883 in Chicago, IL to parents Fred G. MCKINNEY or MCKENNEY (1860-1914) and Elizabeth “Lizzie” WEIBEL (1863-1951). Fredie was one of 6 children born to this couple including Arthur Westcott; Fredie W.; Rose; George Alfred; Hazel Patricia; and Edward William MCKINNEY, all born between 1881 and 1890.
Records indicate that Fredie was married twice, first to Faith COLLINS (b. 1887) on 4 Jun 1905 in St. Joseph, MI. His second marriage was to Fay or Faye D. COLLINS (b. 1890) in 1906 in Chicago, IL and they had a daughter Fay or Faye P. MCKINNEY (1907-1983).
I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be passed onto their care. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

This is my great-grandfather. Benjamin Harrison McKinney. I am not sure of the year this was taken but I do know this was taken in West Virginia. Ben was a Coal miner and he was married 3 times I know for sure maybe 4. His wives I know were Ida Alice Blankenship, McKinney, a woman they called Mexico Stapleton, McKinney, and Susie Arminta Hughes, McKinney. He fathered I believe close to 20+ children and I believe 17 lived. He lived in and around the West Virginia and Virginia state lines.

IT ALL STARTS IN ESTILL COUNTY, KY. MY GRANDFATHER AND HIS FATHER MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WHO I AM NOT SURE OF HIS NAME MY PAPA WAS GILFORD MCKINNEY. MY FATHERS NAME WAS BOYD MCKINNEY AND IS NOW BURIED IN THE DOUBLE OAK CEMETARY, I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION ON THIS LINE OF MY FAMILY AS TO WERE THEY CAME FROM AND SETTLED HERE. I KNOW MY DAD LIVED HERE ALL OF HIS LIFE UNTIL MARRIED MY MOTHER. I BELIEVE SO DID MY GRANDFATHER, FROM THERE I DONT KNOW ANYBODY HAS INFO PLEASE PASS IT ON THANKS.

My Dad(Clyston McKinney) was born in Doniphan MO 1941. His Mom was Virda Edith Jones and his father, Orson A. McKinney. Orson was 40 years old when he married my grandma at 16. Orson had another wife and 2 children in New Mexico. Orson's mom is Nancy Sharp and his father was John McKinney-they met on a wagon trail coming from West Virginia. The Sharps were run out of town because they were outlaws. This is as far back as I know. What I am looking for is if we are Scottish or Irish.
