Updated Naticha Biographies

Is this the Edward Naticha who was in the Army at Fort Dix, NJ during 1964? Eddie and I were friends at radio school and I was heading for Vietnam in May of that year. As I left, I saw a card lying on my bunk. It was a picture of St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes, very appropriate considering my destination. Eddie had written on the back, "Jim, Best of luck, 'til we meet again. Your friend, Eddie." I believe that this card may actually have done some good, since I made it home from Vietnam safely. That card still sits in a frame on the desk in my office. I even used it in my father's eulogy as an example of how we believe that we will see our family and friends again some day. I lost touch with Eddie and never saw or heard from him again. I remember him as a fine man, a good friend and a gentle soul. I've never forgotten his kindness. I'm very saddened to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace. Jim Oliveri [contact link]
