This is a picture of my grandfather Arthur Puckett and his wife Hattie Reed with their firstborn daughter Edna Puckett. I have done research on my Puckett line but have come to a dead end on my other lines. Arthur Puckett father is John Wesley Puckett who married Mary Logsdon. Hattie Reed's father was Harry Reed Jr. and her mother was Cleo or Cleopatosa Hagan. All are from the Jeffersonville, Shivley areas of Kentucky. I believe Harry Reed's father was Henry Reed from Ontario, Canada. If anyone has information on the Reed, Logsdon or Hagan lines, please e-mail me.

Michelle had a hard life. Was a loner in school, graduated vermilion high school in 1989.
Was married to Timothy Stephen Maddix jr in 1993. Had 2 children Rani caitlin(94) and Dalton wade(97).
She separated from steve on 9/9/1999 due to his physical abuse and adult. And took both kids and moved to florida shortly after with only the things in her car trunk. She rebuilt her life for 5 years, till the hotel she was a manager of closed down and she moved back to ohio.
There she lived in Jackson ohio, but a man broke into her home and attacked her. She was never able to return to work after feeling like the law failed her ( the attacker only got criminal trespassing charges and let go).
She finally returned to work for 3 years at general mills. But fell and damaged her right hip and leg, and went on disability for that. Her depression, and PTSD.
For 3rd time she lost everything and packed up her kids and moved to oak hill into ahome her parents James and Marsha. Provided for her. She eventually met a man, michael westburg, was great at first. But he turned violent and mentally abusive. And was hospitalized after having mental issues with dealing with him. And again dealing with the break up. In august 2015 she tried again and met a local man on a dating app called plenty of fish. Dale Lee Puckett. They were married a year later on july 25 at lake alma gazebo. It was 110 degrees that day in the shade.
In 2016 she was diagnosed with kidney cancer, and in 2017 had partial nephrectomy of right kidney.
She also had several tumors on her brain that were inactive.
In 2018 to 2020 sale had multiple heart attacks and a mild stroke and they caught to get him disability. It went all the way to the final judge and was finally approved.
In nov 2020 her and dale both contracted the covid 19 corona virus. Dale recovered quickly but Michelle was hospitalized.

Hi I am researching my greatgrandma's Puckett Family but have not been having a lot of luck. My greatgrandma was Frances Puckett the daughter of Alamander Puckett and Nelius Joseph she was born in Bays, Breathitt Co., Ky. She also had a sister Rebecca by the same parents. Her father Alamander was born and died in Wolfe Co., Ky. He was the son of Greenville Puckett and Adaline Pratt. He had a twin brother Elander who died at a young age. Her mother Nelius Joseph was born Swampton, Breathitt Co.,Ky, where she died i am unsure at this point. She was the daughter of Solomon Joseph and Rebecca Joseph. In 1941 I was seven years old and living with my grandparents on their farm in Leesburg,Texas.My how I enjoyed being the only child there and being pampered by my loving grandparents.
It was the holiday season and being a curious child I was beginning to really wonder if there was truly a Santa Claus.I asked my grandparents and they reassured me that Santa truly did exist.I still wondered if it was true.
My grandfather and I always went down in the woods on the farm and chopped down a beautiful tree for my grandmother's parlor.It was trimmed with colored popcorn and home made ornaments.
The kitchen was full of cookies,fruitcake,fruit and all kinds of home goodies,made by my grandmother.
My stocking was one of my grandmother's old hose.It was filled with nuts ,candy,and fruit.
As Christmas time neared I still had my doubts about Santa.My grandmother and I went into town one day,upon return my grandfather said Santa had come while we were gone.To prove it he took me out to the sandy road and low and behold thiere was some rain deer hoof prints in the sand.
Well to this day I still do not know if it was Santa and his reindeer's or it was granddaddy who led a baby calf up and down the sandy road.I choose to believe it was Santa.
Lets all remember the true meaning of Christmas,remembering Jesus this holiday season.
