I am looking for my husbands family. His father was given away when he was a toddler. His birth parents were George and Doris Zimmer. My father-in-law's name is Charles Harold Zimmer. Her was born in the mid-1950's. Any information would be great!

and Elisabetha and two sons, Jacob, and Michael (Jr) ( My grandfather) Jacob came first alone in the ship Sewall arriving in 1853, The rest came in the ship USS Havre I have a picture, arriving in 1854. Jacob,Michael (Jr) and sister Carolina all settled oin Toledo, Ohio. Does any one know where the other three went. I hzve searched the Ohio and NY 1860 and the 1870 census.
