William J. (Jasper) Phillips, either the father or uncle of Eula Mae Coleman Phillips, wife of Joseph Manton Jarrell. I had thought this was her father, but now suspect it is in fact her uncle. He raised her, but there is no record of him ever being married. If anyone had any information on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
I know these are Jarrell children, either the children or grandchildren of Joseph Manton Jarrell, of Clarksville, Montgomery Co., TN. But I recognize NONE of them. If you do, please contact me and let me know who they are.
From left: Joe Manning, Joseph Manton Jarrell, Charles Shelby Jarrell, and John Suter. Joseph was an engineer for the State of TN, and designed the alarm system for Clarksvilles' fire dept. Charles is his son. Joe and John were either employees at JM Jarrells' wagon shop, or fire fighters themselves. As Joseph had a wagon shop, it is entirely possible that he also built this particular engine. The writing on the picture is that of Frank Gracey Jarrell, Josephs' son.
From left: Frank Gracey Jarrell, Charles Shelby Jarrell, William Jasper Phillips, and Joe Carver. Frank and Charles are sons of Joseph Manton Jarrell and Eula Mae Coleman Phillips. William is either Eulas' father or uncle; he raised her. Joe Carver was an employee at J.M. Jarrell's wagon shop in Clarksville, TN.

James William Hargrove of Pulaski, TN, bef. 1961. Gotta love that car!
The old couple in the middle are Joseph Manton Jarrell and his wife Eula Mae Coleman Phillips-Jarrell. This looks to be taken shortly before his death in 1938. These are there descendants, looks like great-grandchildren. I know NONE of them.
