This is a picture taken when my father was in Sicily during WWI. Based upon a letter written to my grandmother and an address in an old address book, I think the boy, who was about 13, is Giuseppe Taormina. He is listed in my fathers address book as Joseph Taormina, Provincia di Palermo Paise - Trabia Sicily, via Prescia # 2.
Guiseppe Pagano and his wife and Clementina Raimondi, the child is probably their son Ferdinando (known as Fred). Guiseppe and Clementina are also the parents of Raffaele Pagano.
This is the front side of a postcard sent to Pasqua De Santis Pagano, my grandmother. The postcard is dated Dec 12/34. Pasqua's brother Michele sent the card and it is insribed Saluti e ----- fest a tutti. I cannot make out work after e. Nothing else on back, this looks like a family potrait and Michele often sent postcard pictures of the family.
