Carol Yawn's picture was in a great aunts photos. I don't know if he is realted to the Bowen or Gill families of Central Florida or if he might have been a friend from the service.
Co. "F" 106th Engrs 2nd Bn (C) 31st Div - Reunion at John's Resort Hotel, Haines City Fl, 9 June 1979
She was referred to by the name Bertie and her parents were Silas and Marybelle Bowen. She was born and raised in Florida.
Hattie was the former Hattie Bowen and her parents were James E. and Francis Bowen of Statesboro Ga. Her parents moved to Florida after the Civil War and she was born there. She was one of a set of paternal twins. Her twin, Harvey, must have died young because he is not included on any of the census records.
This couple were neighbors to a great aunt. This picture was found in her photos.
I don't have any idea who these people are. It looks like they are living in Florida and they could be realted to the Gills or Bowens of and around Haines city Florida.
These people may be realted to the Bowen or Gill famiies of and around Davenport and Haines City Florida
This family reunion must have been during WWII. I know a handful of people in this picture and would like to know everyone else's name.

Dawn Holder Donna Taken in Davenport, Florida. It had to have been in the late 1940's. My husband's grandmother, Naomi was dead by 1958 so it was before that. I see a little boy in her arms so I am thinking that it was between 46 and 48. There was no exact date.
