Albert Henry "Dutch" Behnke taken about 1924 shortly before he married Helen Marie Rieger. They later had 2 sons Albert and Robert. This was probably taken in Lost ills CA. [Bakersfield area].
Levi and Elizabeth Morgan. They lived in Doddridge Co. WV for at least 50 years. I cannot find who Levi's parents were. He is supposedly related to the earlier Levi Morgan born 1766.
Abraham Brock born 1838, enlisted Union Army on 8 July 1863 in Co. 'L' 4th Reg. WV Calvary. He deserted 14 Sep 1863, only to re-enlist on 29 Sept, to join the same unit as his brothers. He was mustered out 9 Aug. 1865 at Richmond VA. It would appear he deserted in order to be with his brothers. There were 4 siblings of my Grandmother, all fighting for the Union forces. [Abraham; Burbridge; Isaac and Jacob Brock]
Cpl. Burbridge Brock served with the Union forces. He enlisted 17 Oct 1861 and died of typhiod fever at age 25 on 30 May 1862. He is buried in Veteran's Cemetery in Washington D.C.
He served in Co. 'K' 1st WV Infantry.
