Several of these cowboys in Fairland, OK. are the Blair brothers, sons of Robert Blair & Calista E. Bishop Blair. I think this picture was made in the 1920's They are relatives of mine.
This is Herbert Taylor on/at Fruit Hill Ave. in Providence, R.I. abt. 1915. He is the son of Everill and Robert Taylor. Herbert b. 1890, husband of Rose Chapman, father of Everill and Arline.
This photo is designated on the folder "Grandma Phelps in her casket. There are no dates nor any other information given. There is a picture , in an oval frame, more than likely of "Grandma Phelps" at an earlier age, hanging above the casket which was customary in earlier days. This picture was found in Oklahoma and loaned to me to place on this site in hopes that a family member will recognize either the picture or name. This picture probably dates to about the 1920's.
This photo was found with other family photos. Could this be the Chapman Family of Massachusetes? This picture of "Rose/Rosina" looks so much like her 10/15 yrs. later. She is the young lady dressed in white and with glasses. She was born 1895/1896. I have a few others to compare this with.Maybe these are her parents/grandparents? And possibly a brother?
Rose I. Taylor and daughter, Everill. This photo was purchased with many other family photos in Providence, Rhode Island recently at an estate sale. On the back is written: Mother and sister of Arline Taylor Wiggins. Taken 8 Sept. 1919.
The headstone reads: Robert Taylor 1864-1928 His Wife Everill Pickup 1865-19-- Grace Taylor 1892-1922 (daughter) Herbert Taylor 1890-19-- His Wife Rosina Chapman 1895-19-- I think the young child in the photo is Everill Taylor, daughter of Herbert and Rosina. This is a great photo to have because I was able to read, with a magnifying glass, all of the names and dates. This info is invaluable for your geneological research. I do not know the name of the Cemetary, but it is in Providence, Rhode Island. The elder Taylors were born in England.
Herbert Taylor, Grandma Taylor, & Aunt Grace Taylor, (Mother & sister of Herbert), and Baby Everill, Herbert's daughter. "Day Everill was Christened" September 28, 1919
On the back of the photo is written: Maxwell MOWRY, his dad Percy MOWRY, Russell MOWRY, our dad, Herbert TAYLOR, Percy's wife, Aunt Maude, Uncle Jim LIDSTONE and his wife Helen. Jim and Maude are Rose (Rosina) Taylor's Stepmother's brother and sister.
This postcard photo of the lady with the umbrella and young child is wonderful ! In the background to the right is a platform with people waiting for boats, it reads "BOATS TO: then print is too small to read. ( I used my magnifying glass)To the left is a bridge with people crossing it, also in the backgroun to the right is a boat/ship, very vague. I found this at the Tulsa flea market in Tulsa, OK. Nothing written on the back.

Jean Lay Hello, did you see the other four (4) pictures? The Father's name is listed and (3) children are named. I think the vendor purchased them in Wichita, KS. Of course, you know how people and their photos do travel, one never knows where they'll end up. I'll check that ELLIS site you're talking about. Thank you, Jean Lay
