Frank Crawford, married to my relative Anna E. (aka Anna Amelia) Willard/Williard. Photo in family album, looks to be taken around civil war time-frame from clothing?
I don't know Frank's birthdate/deathdate yet? Frank & Anna had 2 children that I know
of Carrie B. and Charles F. They lived mainly in Dixon, Illinois area.
Eva O. Phillips (married to Joseph B. Hastings, died Nov. 29, 1930 in LaRue, Ohio). Had 7 children. Daughter of Samuel Phillips and Mary Ann Ellis. Tintype photo in family photo album with mostly civil war dated photos.
Photo labeled "Grandma Ellis" - tintype. I'm assuming it might be the mother of my gggrandmother Catharine Ellis Rodig Willard. Her name was Mary P. Selover Ellis (married to Richard Ellis Nov. 6, 1827). They had 6 children: Isaac Newton, Richard S., my gggrandmother Catharine, Sylvia Jane, Mary Ann and William M. Ellis family extensive in New York - my branch went to Ohio area.
Newton Ellis (died Nov. 3, 1892 in Marseilles, Ohio), brother to my gggrandmother Catharine Ellis Rodig Willard. Son of Richard Ellis. Ellis family very extensive mainly from New York area. My branch went to Ohio.
Unknown who this is except written in pencil at bottom of the photo Lizzie Amer age 21....found in family photo album that contains mostly photos from Civil War era.
Anyone with information on this gal or photo would be welcome! Interesting photo to say the least!
Photo in our family photo album containing mostly photos from civil war era. Haven't found another photo like this of Lincoln so don't know the date. Appears to be a drawing - not actual photo. Must have been time-frame when he was President as he has the beard and don't think he had a beard prior to becoming President. Anyone knowing estimate age of photo or information of photo I would welcome!
