Pam Jeans It is popular belief that there are 2 JEANS clans. One out of Canada and one from France and England. You need to consider name spellings when researching. JEAN/JEANS JEANES/JEANNES ect ect..... Our JEAN/JEANS are out of Franklin County, NC and can be documented as early as 1790. They seem to have gone to NC from VA. We are unclear as to how they got to VA. Any help appreciated.

Pam Jeans Do you have anymore on the HERSUE or GILLE lines? And are you sure of that spelling for HERSUE? I have had several look at the spelling and we are not clear about it.
