This is a photo of John Stanley Coleman taken around 1939 by Louis Fabian Bachrach,Jr. who had graduated at Harvard at the time before entering the photography profession in the studios of his family dating to the civil war. Chances are, the subject's connections to Harvard (class of 1919) connected the two. Bachrach graduated in 1939. This scanned photo was cropped and doesn't show the "Fabian" signature at the bottom.
