Thanks, all I could see on the picture was Lawrence. I looked and he is not from my Rutledge line. Another researcher has him listed as a son of David and Rosanah (Work) .

I suspect he may be the Leigh Ferris who is a son of Mortimor and Olive Ferris (Iowa) per 1900 census. Possibly the Leigh Ferris who relocated to Minnesota???
