I am the coordinator of the Norris family for our family here in Australia. John Norris had a son Jeremiah Norris born in halifax nova scotia in 1810. He came to Australia in 1850 and went to the gold fields.
His father John resided in Newton Hamilton Pennsylvania in 1843

Norris family in Australia
This is the only surviving Photo of Jeremiah Norris, born 1810 in Nova Scotia Canada. He migrated to Australia in 1850 to the Bendigo gold fields where he was very successful operating the Caledonia Gold mine. He and his sons in later years also owned Hotels in the district. In marriage records from Rothesay in Scotland his father John Norris was shown as residing in Newton Hamilton Pennsylvania America.

Jeremiah Norris of Heathcote Australia was born in 1810, and died at age 79 years old in 1889 in Heathcote.
Gjertine (Petersdatter) Hansen, Minnesota
Gjertine Birgitte Petersdatter (1856-1891) married Albert Hansen (1855-1929) on 27 October 1883 in Duluth, Minnesota. Gjertine was born in Evenstad, Norway, the daughter of Peter Berg Bjornsen (1829-1895) and Lovise Birgitte Nielsdatter (1833-1877).
