He was born on a farm in Poland. Baptized as a Roman Catholic. Taken prisoner by Russian Forces in WW 2. Claimed to be a Tank Crewman (doubtful as the Polish Army was not known to have tanks at the beginning of the invasion.) After the defeat of the Axis powers was Hired as a pesonal Chauffuer for a US Colonel. Received a visa to immigrate to the US. Was married, but his first wife supposedly died here in the US. He married my mother; Margaret Anderson De Leon; Zurek. I was the step son; a daughter Victoria Ann Zurek was born in Chicago, Illlinios February 14th 1956. He was a machine tool and die maker employed by Stewart Warner in Chicago; retired and relocated to their Farm in Iron River, Mi 49935 in approximately 1980.
