2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Fern was a school teacher in Bakersfield, California for many years. She and her husband had one child--a daughter. In high school, her daughter became very ill with both Mononucleosis and another disease. Her daughter eventually went to college and I attended her wedding. Her daughter was very thin but lovely.
Fern was a friend of my mother and a charming person. She rescued a bulldog who loved her dearly. He used to snore when he slept. As I was still a child, I found the bulldog to be quite delightful. He was a very gentle and loving dog.
Fern and her husband retired and moved to Morro Bay. I wished my mother could have done that also. Anyway, Fern was a good and kind person. She made the world a better place and I hope she enjoyed her senior years. I have not forgotten her even if others have.
