This is Melvin Leroy Boardman taken at approximtely 1 1/2 years of age. He was born October 29, 1926, the son of Glenn and Anna (Fisher) Boardman and passed away at age 6 years from diptheria. He was my mother, Marie Ellen Boardman Moore's older brother.
James Franklin Plymire born in Mitchell County, Kansas April 28, 1877 and his wife, May E. Padgett Plymire born in Drakesville, Iowa March 14, 1877. This was taken in Beloit, Kansas early in their marriage, probably around 1900. My husband, Glen Davis, is their great grandson.
This is my great great Uncle and Aunt, Joseph and Angelina (Lavoie) Dumas. Angelina was an older sister of my Great Grandfather Arthur Lavoie.
This is my Grandma Ruby Albina Lavoie (Moore) with her sister, Aldia Esther Lavoie (Hickman) and her brother, Arthur Arson Lavoie. I would estimate this was taken around 1913 and they appear to be dressed up for a special school function at their rural Cloud County school.
This is a picture of Eunice Sporleder standing on her future husband's, Glenn Plymire, car. The car was a 1917 Ford and it was an early Graduation present to Glenn from his dad, Frank Plymire.
This is a picture of Alfred Glenn Plymire and Eunice Mae Sporleder Plymire early in their marriage. They were married February 20, 1924. Glenn, as he was commonly known, was born on February 3, 1903 to James Franklin and May (Padgett) Plymire, Eunice was born November 11, 1904 to William Claymence and Anna (Rohde) Sporleder. They farmed near Beloit, Mitchell County, Kansas.
This picture is of my Great Grandma Ada Tharp Boardman and my Grandad Glenn Irving Boardman. Glenn was born April 1903, so I'm guessing this was taken in early 1904. Not sure about where. Maybe this house might look familiar to somebody out there!
This is a picture of my Great Grandma Mattie Wilkinson Fisher with her 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The picture says they are the Wilkinson siblings, but one of them is listed as Myrtle. To my knowledge there wasn't a sister named Myrtle. Somewhat of a mystery...anyone know the answer? Anyway, pictured are Cook, Frank, Mattie, Gracie and Myrtle.
This ia a baby portrait of my grandma Anna Ruth Fisher Boardman. She was the oldest daughter and sixth of 12 children born to Charles Alvadore Fisher and Mattie Wilkinson Fisher. Anna was born December 15, 1906 in Charitan Co., Missouri and died March 10, 1979 in Manhattan, Kansas. She married Glenn Irving Boardman July 29, 1925.
