These are pictures of my great grandmother Sarah Suggs Hand. She was born 11/10/1869. She died in 1951. She was married to Wyatte LaFayette Hand. These are pictures of her with her many many many grandbabies, taken in Marion County, Hand Valley Area, Near Yellville.

My father had 5 sisters, Doris Barker is not in this picture. Top picture is Palma Barker Weaver, Doris Barker Waldroop, Juanita Barker McAllister, little boy is Tyrone Weaver, my father and mother Quinton & Wanda Kelley Barker, little girl infront is Gayla Barker Johnson my sister, man behind my father is Winton Snavely holding Marlene Snavely, Mona Barker Snavely, and Betty Jo Barker.

Top Male picture is my grandfather Thomas Martin Barker, the lady next to him is his mother, Julettie McIntyre Barker, she had a twin sister Lucettie. The man in the picture below I do not know, but I am almost certain he is a Barker also. These pictures were taken in Crawford Co Arkansas at Mountainburg/Turner/Mulberry/Shepherd Springs area.

This is a picture of Margaret Godfrey Magness with two of her brothers, Bailey Buchanan "Buck" and Davis Godfrey. Not sure which man is which. This is my great aunt and great uncles. Their parents were David and Elizabeth Athaline Godfrey from Gilmer County GA, that moved to Boone/Marion County Arkansas after 1870. Anyone related to this line please contact me.....Sarah

This is my great Aunt & Uncle. George Washington Shepherd was the son of Andrew Jackson "the General" Shepherd and Laura Alice Sherrill Shepherd. He was the brother to my grandmother, Della Mae Shepherd Barker. This is the Shepherd family of John "jack" Shepherd and Elmira Wright Shepherd of Shepherd Springs, Crawford County, Arkansas.

Sarah Cotton This photo is a part of my Aunts collection of pictures, also. She has sinced passed away, but said that this photo was of William Shepherd and one of his Renfroe wives. William's son Andrew Jackson Shepherd married Laura Alice Sherrill, daughter of Samuel Sherrill. This man sure looks like all the other Shepherd men of that time period.
