Stuart McDonald My old San Francisco friend Jeffrey Peter Brown (went by "Jeff") died of AIDS complications on March 9, 1989 -- exactly 25 years ago yesterday -- at the age of 32. I went on a 4-month drinking binge after my partner/lover Lavoy died in May 1988, but then quit and started regularly attending AA meetings in the Castro area of San Francisco (where I lived back then). That's where I met Jeff. He was a very sweet, kind and good person and even stayed with me briefly as his mental and physical condition deteriorated. I miss you, Jeff. I guess I'll be seeing you soon enough. At least, I hope so. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.714790698542845.1073741843.100000357645685&type=1&l=573a952fa7 http://obit.glbthistory.org/display.jsp?name=19890406_Brown_Jeffrey http://obit.glbthistory.org/imagedb/1989/04/06/19890406_Brown_Jeffrey/m19890406_0.jpg
