Graduate of the University of Maine, Class of 1899. From the photo, it looks like he might have been in the Marine Corps. He was a marksman according to the pin on his uniform.

1913 Harold Stevens, captain of the football team. Ricker Classical Institute is located in Houlton, Maine. According to the football in the photo, looks like they won the championship that year.
