Ethel Walkup, born 10 Dec. 1878 in Dennison, TX., she married to Carlos B. Allen in Oklahoma. They were divorced in 1906 and Carlos remarried Liza Tranthum, they had three sons. Ethel and Carlos had two living children, Clare (male) and Charlotte Allen. Ethel later moved to Washington state where she lived until she passed away on 11 Jun. 1948.

We believe the other lady was a Walkup, possibly Ethel's sister, with her grand daughter. They may have come to visit a relative who was hospitalized in Seattle, WA. Lena May and her brother Perry Schnatterer. Their grandfather immigrated to the U.S. in 1869 when he was only two years old. Later they changed their names to Snyder.
George Chamberlain enlisted in the Union Army during the Civil War on October 18,1861, he was discharged on Surgeon's disability December 19, 1862, and he died in Alexandria Virginia January 13, 1863. George Chamberlain is interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. He was my ggg grandfather.
