2 Memories, Stories & Photos about Marjorie

As my daughter said, my mother passed 2 days after my birthday. Her husband, Dr. Jack Erwin Trager we lost in 1974, on Halloween. I no longer celebrate either, I mostly just cry. Bill, that Sammi referred to was my husband who passed in 2016.

Momma, I love you and miss you daily. Please God, take care of her and my daddy till I join them with you in heaven.

You never called her grandma Sammi. You couldn't say that big of a word yet, so you named her GaGa. It stuck. Everyone knew who GaGa was.

I will never forget, you were 4 months old when she first saw you. Your dad and I flew across Florida to spend Christmas. We made sure we were the last off the plane, as I put your little body inside a big red Xmas stocking I had made. The stewardess that helped us get it set up, followed us off the plane. To this day I'm not sure who was crying the most, but I remember other people who watched it all unfold, were clapping, oohing and aweing.
