Agostino Falone, 77, who owned and operated Falone's Luncheonette in Southwest Philadelphia, died Friday at Haverford Community Hospital. He lived in SOuthwest Philadelphia. Mr. Falone operated his steak and hoagie shop, in the 7300 block of Elmwood Avenue, for more than 30 years. He ran the shop with his sons, and even at 77 was stopping there for a couple of hours a day to visit with longtime customers. He owned a retail shoe business in Abruzzi, Italy, before immigrating to the United States in the early 1950s. Survivors: his wife, Maria Concetta Giansante Falone; daughters, Anna Foschi and era DiValerio; sons, Sergio, Fred and Gabriel; 11 grandchildren, and a sister. Services: viewing 7 to 9:30 p.m. today, Kish Funeral Home, 6506 Elmwood Ave.; Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. tomorrow, St. Irenaeus Church, 2728 S. 73rd St; burial, SS.
