Albert boarded Titanic as 3rd class from Queenstown, Ireland with his mother Margaret and brothers George (8) Eric (7) Arthur (4) Eugene (2) on April 10, 1912. . On April 14, 1912 the ship struck an iceberg at 11:45 pm then sank two hours later on April 15th at 2:20 am by splitting in two. Even older boys Albert's age were not allowed to board the lifeboats and many lifeboats did not come back to the ship because they didn't want to get swamped.
