    Alberta V. Schulze (nee Kitchenman) known to family and friends as Dolly of Hatboro,Pennsylvania died January 4,2018. She was 93 years old. Born on October 16,1924 in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania,daughter of the late Grant W. Kitchenman and Helen Kitchenman (nee Market). She was the beloved wife of the late William C. Schulze Sr.;mother of William C. Schulze, Jr. and his wife Janice and Janet L. Whiteside and her husband Bill. She was the grandmother of William C Schulze III(Bo) and his wife Nicole,Bradford J. Schulze (Brad) and his wife Lynda,Winston W. Whiteside IV (Bill),and Bryan C. Whiteside and his wife Lauren. She was the great-grandmother of Bo,Violet and Ella Schulze,and Winston,Taylor and Lukas Whiteside. Sister of the late Myrtle Flanagan,late Helen Bimmer and her husband the late Edward Bimmer,and the late Grant Kitchenman and his wife the late Ann Kitchenman. Sister-in-law to the late Mazie and her husband the late Joseph Kolla,to the late Marion and her husband the late Howard Wunsch,Dorothy Loller and her husband the late Roy Loller,and the late Florence and her husband the late George Verdeur. She is also the aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dolly was born and educated in Philadelphia. Dolly lost her mother at the age of four and lived with her maternal grandmother until her father remarried Anna Lafferty Kitchenman. Growing up she enjoyed horseback riding and roller skating. Dolly met Bill while working with his sisters. They were on married April 5,1947. They lived in Philadelphia before settling in Hatboro where she lived for 67 years. Dolly worked on the Upper Moreland Police Force as a crossing guard and then worked for Upper Moreland School District as teacher assistant and cheerleading coach. Dolly and Bill were founding members of Suburban Grace Brethren Church and for the past 12 years she regularly attended the Independent Bible Church. Dolly and Bill had the good fortune to travel to many states and countries together. Dolly enjoyed watching football,old time movies and musicals. She loved sitting on her porch rocker and greeting her neighbors. She was an avid supporter cheering her grandsons in the many sports and activities in which they participated. Her great-grandchildren were the love of her life and she enjoyed every moment she spent with them. She will be greatly missed by many. Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Thursday,January 11,2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. and service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home,501 Easton Road,Willow Grove. PA 19090. Her graveside service followed by Forest Hill Cemetery Huntingdon Valley,PA. Services were offered by Pastor Robert Hershberger. In lieu of flowers,donations may be made in her memory to Independent Bible Church,709 N. Norristown Road,Warminster,PA 18974.
