Basil Donatelli was born on April 11, 1930 in Groton, Connecticut United States to Constantino Donatelli and Vivian Teresa Mancini, and had siblings Richard Edward Donatelli, Antonio Donatelli, Vienna Donatelli, and Glenda May Donatelli. He was in a relationship with Doris Mae Amy, and had children Alan Michael Donatelli and Denise Amy Donatelli. Basil Donatelli died at age 71 years old on April 26, 2001 in Groton, and was buried at Cimetière Elm Grove 197 Greenmanville Ave, in Stonington, New London County.
