LewisSr.,BenjaminFranklin Benjamin Franklin 'Bud' Lewis, Sr., age 72, of Mesa, retired founder of Lewis and Sons Air Conditioning, Inc., passed away gently and peacefully at 12 Noon on Sunday, January 6, 2008, at his home where he was surrounded by family and friends. Mr. Lewis was born on September 30, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, prior to marrying his life-long love and devoted wife of 49 years, Hazel. The Lewis' moved to Arizona in August of 1980, where they started their family-owned and operated air conditioning business in 1982. Mr. Lewis leaves behind his wife, four sons and two daughters, along with thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sons: Jeff Lewis (Shelly), John Lewis (Corey), Steve Lewis and Bud Lewis, Jr.; Daughters: Barbara Daniels (Kevin) and Gina Lewis; Grandchildren: Frank (Mia), Michael, Gwen, Max, Connor, Joshua, Kara (TJ), Kaitlyn, Jenna, Tanner, Brennan and Hanna; Great-grandchildren: Z-ana, Madison and Thomas Jr.; as well as many other loving family and friends. Services and Interment will be private.
