1928 - Bernice was merely 3 years old when Mickie Mouse was born! He first appeared in Disney's Steamboat Willie, along with Minnie. The National Guard was called in to help the LA police quell rioting.

1981 - Bernice was 56 years old when on August 1st, MTV debuted. It was the first music video TV channel. The first music video played was the Buggles' "Video Killed the Radio Star" - the second was Pat Benatar's "You Better Run".
