Bettie (Kimbrough) Mulling was born to Gray Bruce Kimbrough (1880 - 1948) and Bessie (Willis) Kimbrough (1882 - 1970) on October 22nd, 1915 and she was survived by brothers Carl and Hugh (1907 - 1997); and sisters Nell and Sarah (1910 - 1992). Bettie first married Captain James Ellison Glattly (1907 - 1942) in 1938 and she then married Claude Reddish "Pug" Mulling (1915 - 1996) in 1945, three years after her first husband died. She was the mother of two daughters and she was survived by two grandchildren. See Bettie Mulling: Obituary.

MRS. BETTIE MULLING BAXLEY, GEORGIA - Mrs. Bettie Kimbrough Mulling, 60, died Friday morning at Appling General Hospital. Funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Swain Funeral Home, Baxley, with burial in Columbus at 2 p.m. Sunday in Parkhill Cemetery. Mrs. Mulling was born October 22nd, 1915 in Columbus, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gray Bruce Kimbrough. She was a member of First Unted Methodist Church, Baxley, and a bookkeeper for a construction firm. She had been a resident of Baxley for 30 years. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John Nee Smith Millen, and Mrs. R.A. Carver, Ambrose; brothers Carl and Hugh Kimbrough; sisters, Mrs. Raymond Rowe and Mrs. Nell Flournoy, all of Columbus; and two grandchildren. - Ledger Enquirer (Columbus, Georgia) Saturday, August 28, 1976 on page 18.

Bettie K Mulling was my mother.

My mother was a very smart woman. I would like to know more about her just for myself. She died before I realized there were things I needed to know. Both my parents turned 40 the year I was born, so I was only 20. Thank you for helping me by sharing any information you may have.
