Bridget died on 1 November 1928 in Weehawken, NJ. She was born in Pennsylvania and may have met her husband, George Phillips, there. They married and raise a large family, including children John, Lizzie, George, Charles, James R, Harry F. and Helen M. Phillips. They were pre-deceased by their children Jane and Edward, both of whom died as very young children, as well as their oldest son, John, of NYC. She was also predeceased by her husband George, who died in 1906, and son George, who died in 1921. Bridget was a devout Catholic. Bridget was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. At the time of her death, she was caring for her grandchildren, John and Julia, both of whom were orphaned when very young, and her youngest son, Harry F. Phillips. She was deeply admired by her great-grandson, John L. Phillips, even though he never knew her, because of how highly her grandson, John L. Phillips, spoke of her. In addition to her children and their respective spouses, she was survived by numerous grandchildren who loved her.
